Marissa Alcaraz is the current certified athletic trainer for Pasadena High School. She was raised in Santa Clarita, California. She played softball throughout high school and found her passion for athletic training after taking a sports medicine class at Golden Valley High School. After graduating, she continued her education at California State University, Northridge where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. In 2025, she earned her Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from California State University, Northridge. Marissa’s clinical rotations included College of the Canyons, Valencia High School, Castaic High School, and Glendale Community College. Marissa values incorporating the goals of student-athletes to help them reach their best performance.
